About Blueline

At the end of the XIXth century, George A. Savoy is hired by the National Blank Book of Holyoke, Massachusetts, where he becomes, after a few years, the sales general manager. In 1917, Dominion Blank Book Co. Ltd. is incorporated as the Canadian subsidiary and four years later, George A. Savoy acquires Dominion Blank Book Co. Ltd. and settles in Canada with his family.

For almost 30 years, Dominion Blank Book Co. Ltd. progresses and goes from six to one hundred employees. At the time of George A.'s passing in 1951, Harolde James takes over. Under his presidency, Dominion Blank Book Co. Ltd. grows to become one of the most important office supply maker in Canada.

In 1972, George Morin, Harolde J.'s son, takes over and the company enters the modern age. In 1981, Dominion Blank Book Co. Ltd. changes its name to Entreprises Dominion Blueline inc.

In 1988, after three generations, Harolde M. Savoy, George M.'s son, becomes the company's president. Thanks to his vision and commitment, Harolde M. takes the company through years of continuous success. The acquisition, in 1994, of Brownline's seasonal and accounting products, confirms without the shadow of a doubt, that Dominion Blueline has secured its position as a leader in its field in the Canadian market.

In 1998 Dominion Blueline Inc., acquired Rediform Inc, based in Coppell, Texas one of the world's largest printers of business forms.

Then, in November 2003, Dominion Blueline Inc. signed a multi-year license agreement with Avery Dennison Worldwide Office Products for the worldwide exclusive sales, distribution and manufacturing of the National Brand note-taking and accounting supplies business.

"The license agreement will help Dominion Blueline strengthen its position in the rapidly consolidating North American market of office supplies" said Harolde Savoy, President and General Manager.
